In March, The Mother’s Day Club won the Romantic Novelists’ Association Romantic Saga Award of 2022. The award was chosen by readers and it was a most wonderful surprise to be shortlisted along with a selection of fabulous saga books, I never expected my book to win – just being short-listed was a delight. I am thrilled that The Mother Day Club actually won, especially as it was a book that I nearly gave up on. The beautiful trophy now sits within view of my desk and reminds me to keep on going, getting those words down even when it’s hard!
